Your Responsibilities:
- Ownership of container box and mechanical subassembly scope for new product developments (NPIs) and complex project-specific designs
- Act as main mechanical design interface for new products to packagers, container box suppliers, and subassembly suppliers
- Generate 3D designs and 2D manufacturing drawings of container boxes, coolant piping, roof assembly support structures, and other subassemblies (e.g., exhaust plenums, SCR modules, condensate drain systems)
- Create 3D and 2D general arrangement drawings of complete, turn-key containerized solutions
- Represent the Container Platform Team in Container NPI projects as the Mechanical Design expert
- Prepare RFQ documentation and support evaluation, validation, and ramp-up of new container box and subassembly suppliers
- Support container box and subassembly cost improvement initiatives
Your Profile:
- Profound technical education in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor, Master, or Technical College HTL)
- Professional experience with industrial plant design, preferably with integration of Jenbacher gas gensets
- Very good knowledge of relevant design codes and 3D CAD tools, preferably experience with CATIA V5 and AutoCAD Plant or comparable tools
- Strong MS Office skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Ability to work collaboratively; strong communication skills
- Ability to cope with pressure and meet deadlines
- High motivation level, self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness & ability to travel on company business occasionally
